Another 80's view of the Boston Skyline, taken from a moving vehicle at the intersection of the Southeast Expressway and the Mass Turnpike. Initially I thought this was taken in the early 80's, but after seeing this post on Bostonscapes, I realized that the building peeking out behind the little John Hancock building is 500 Boylston St, so this must have been taken in the late 80's, as the building was completed in 1989. Hi guys - wishing you both the same. I've never been in the new JH tower, but have fond memories of the old one behind it. It felt so grown up to work there while still in school. :)

Have you explored "street view," Google map's new feature? It's quite amazing. You can "drive up and down the streets and see the buildings, people, etc.
Yet another classic from you Townboy. How do you manage to drive and take photos at the same time? Nice shot BTW.

Fenix: I discovered "street view" when I was trying to figure out which street had the footbridge over the tracks. It is amazing, I love it. I used it recently when I was looking at some of your Beacon Hill pics ... I wanted to see if I could spot one of the Suffolk U. buildings near the State House.
Rich: You crack me up. I'm rich, I hired a chauffeur, lol. No, actually, my brother drove while I took the pics ... it was a habit we got into while pursuing my quest for the perfect photo (j/k). Thanks for the compliment, I'm glad you like some of these old shots.
