Open Door

If it's Wednesday, Isadora must be posting a Door ... so, in honor of her, I decided to post this Open Door. [Click To Enlarge]

Picture of a shop in Chinatown, Boston, late 70's or early 80's.

:) How sweet of you, thank you. I can see why this door is open! The store is so full that they have no room inside. :)

Wow you have to look really carefully to make out the door!

Wow George! I love this "chinatown gate" quite impressive and funny! It makes also a very good ocular eye exercice indeed:-)
I like all the different kinds of objects being placed on the shelves. Are they going on a truck?
If we look at the AC on the toop of the door, it's looks like this shelf is outside right?

Dorothee: Thank you. That is a small store, all of the items you see are displayed for sale. The first thing you see just inside the door is a stack of shopping baskets, with 50 lb sacks of rice behind it.

The AC is on a shelf outside. Most of the stores had these type of 'window units' back then.

I have a feeling you didn't actually see my pictures of the gate. The link I gave you was for the 'chinatown' label on my site, and that included 8 posts. You have to scroll down to see the two pictures of the gate, and a picture of the lions before they were set in place at the gate.
