:) that is the Chinatown I remember. It is far too civilized now and virtually no Chinese restaurants left. Somehow it had become a Korean section of town. Fenix can you comment on that - was my impression correct?
It's still mainly Chinese/ Vietnamese with some Cambodian, Korean and Japanese. The Cambodian community experienced amazing growth in MA during the '90s, BTW.
Much cleaner now, but still as uninviting/uninteresting as ever. Actually, Quincy, MA, now has a much nicer/livelier Chinatown. Go figure.
Isadora & Fenix: thank you for the update. The last time I was there was to attend a wedding reception at (I think) the oldest, best known Chinese Restaurant there, although I can't remember the name of it, lol. My friend is Chinese - they served a ten course dinner and I was introduced to Sea Anemone - yikes!
